My name is Rose Bowden, and I am studying Health Science Frist Year at Otago University. Last year, I graduated from Rangi Ruru Girls School in Christchurch and achieved NCEA Levels 2 & 3 with an excellence endorsement.
I can tutor in the following subjects:
· Years 1 to 11 General Mathematics (number, algebra, measurement, geography, trigonometry and probability).
· Years 1 to 11 General Science (weather & climate, ecosystems, living organisms, genetics, matter states & properties, chemical reactions, forces & motion and heat).
· Years 11 to 13 Chemistry (oxidation-reduction, structure & bonding, organic chemistry, chemical reactivity, thermochemistry and aqueous systems)
· Years 11 to 13 Statistics (chance & data, probability and statistical reports)
In this session, I can work through workbooks with students, re-teach and review what students have learnt at school, help students complete homework, and help students prepare for derived grades and end-of-year exams. I can organise and print workbooks for a printing cost of approximately $10-15.
I can do online sessions or in-person sessions at the Otago University Library. I can travel to other public places/libraries in Dunedin for a travel cost of approximately $10-15.

Experiences
I have tutored many high schools students in year 9-11 maths, year 11 science and year 12-13 chemistry. I have also tutored primary school students in year 3-6 maths and english as a second language.

My main interest is in chemistry and science but outside of school I enjoy being in outdoors, spending time my pets and play my sport.
