Hello! My name is Mrs. Ishtpal Kaur Bhasin, and I am excited to offer private science tuition and chemistry tutoring. With over 33 years of experience teaching science & chemistry from Year 7 to Year 13 students, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a passion for making chemistry understandable and engaging. My goal is to help you build a strong foundation in chemistry while making the learning experience enjoyable and rewarding. I hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) specializing in science curriculum, as well as a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Chemistry from the University of Mumbai. Additionally, I am a qualified laboratory technician and have undergone training in laboratory management and safety. I am proficient in using modern educational technology, including Learning Management Systems (LMS) and video conferencing platforms like Zoom and Microsoft Teams, which allows me to provide seamless tutoring sessions online. My proficiency in English, Hindi, and Punjabi enables me to connect with a wide range of students and communicate complex concepts effectively in multiple languages.

I have over three decades of experience as a chemistry teacher at Dayanand Anglo Vedic (D.A.V.) School in New Delhi, India. I have taught chemistry to students in Year 9 and Year 10, using diverse teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and foster an inclusive classroom. In addition to classroom teaching, I served as the school’s In-Charge from 2009 to 2013, leading a team of over 30 teachers and managing the administration of Year 9 and Year 10. I was also responsible for running the chemistry laboratory, conducting experiments with students, and ensuring a hands-on learning experience. Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to staying updated with the latest educational trends by attending various workshops and seminars, and I have received recognition for my students' outstanding performance, including a Letter of Appreciation from India’s Education Minister.

I am a passionate and dedicated educator with 33 years of experience in teaching chemistry to students. Throughout my career, I have not only taught but also fostered a positive and engaging learning environment, ensuring students not only understand chemistry but also develop a love for the subject. I take pride in tailoring my teaching methods to suit the diverse learning styles of my students, using a mix of traditional and modern teaching techniques.

After retiring for two years, I am now excited to return to tutoring, helping students achieve their academic goals in chemistry. I am committed to making learning fun, interactive, and impactful, whether in person or through online platforms. I bring a strong background in both classroom teaching and laboratory work, making my lessons both informative and practical.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, staying updated with the latest advancements in science, and exploring educational resources to continuously improve my teaching methods. I am also enthusiastic about participating in educational seminars and workshops to share knowledge and learn new teaching practices.
