Tutor Profile

I believe that every student is equally capable of great success, and I find it incredibly rewarding to guide students towards this success and support them on their learning journey. My students have a track record of academic success and surpassing their goals, and I greatly enjoy supporting them to achieve this.

My emphasis is on helping students achieve their personal goals. Whether they are aiming for the highest grades, want to understand content better, or simply hope to find more joy in the subject, I will take the time to help my students achieve this. As a tutor, I also believe it is important to take the time to learn and respond to different learning needs. I like to check in with the student to see what works and what doesn't to ensure effective and engaging learning.

Length of sessions can vary depending on the needs and preferences of the individual. If there are any subjects not listed in this ad that you are looking for support with, let me know - I may be able to offer sessions in other areas as well, depending on the circumstances.

I have a certificate in supporting the learning of secondary students, however this is not a formal certification or qualification. Otherwise, I have my academic transcript, and proven results from clients.

I have been tutoring a variety of subjects across various levels for 4 years. Many of my students have gone on to achieve perfect results in some of their assessments, and I ensure my approach is personalised to each student.

I am currently a student at the University of Otago studying towards a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Anatomy, Theatre, and Philosophy. I enjoy all aspects of the arts and sciences, and I tutor in my free time. Additionally, I participate in creative extracurriculars.
