My career started off in the chemical and biotech industries. I have worked for GSK and Avecia and enjoyed the problem solving, and practical hands-on aspect of working in industry.
Since 2007 I have been employed in education; teaching in schools, colleges, university and as a trainer in industry. For 5 years I worked in an international school teaching chemistry and physics.

Qualifications
I have a degree in Chemistry from Glasgow University and a Ph.D from Strathclyde University. I obtained my postgraduate teacher training from Paisley University.
Experiences
Experienced class room teacher 15 years. I have also tutored for many years, from January 2024 I have been working exclusively as an online tutor.
