Hi! I’m a friendly and patient tutor with experience helping younger students with their studies. I enjoy breaking down challenging topics into simple explanations and helping students build confidence. I aim to make lessons supportive, engaging and tailored to each student’s learning needs.
Qualifications
Cambridge International AS Level studies in Mathematics, English Language, Biology, Chemistry and Psychology. I have developed a strong academic foundation across these subjects and enjoy applying my knowledge to help others learn.
Experience
I have one year of paid tutoring experience, during which I tutored younger students at my school in IGCSE Mathematics. I helped students understand difficult concepts, work through practice questions and prepare for assessments. This experience helped me develop my communication skills and learn how to adapt my teaching approach to different learning styles.
About
I grew up in New Zealand and have always enjoyed learning new things, particularly in science. In my free time, I volunteer at the SPCA Animal Hospital, where I enjoy helping out and spending time around animals. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family. In the future, I hope to study Chemistry and Pharmacology at the University of Auckland, with the goal of becoming a patent attorney.
