I’m a criminal defence lawyer and AUT Law graduate (Class of 2024), achieving an A- range GPA and First Class Honours. I offer tutoring grounded in both academic excellence and real-world legal practice, with a strong focus on helping students understand the law clearly and apply it confidently in assessments and exams.

I support students across a wide range of law subjects, including but not limited to Criminal Law, Evidence Law, Criminal Procedure, Torts, Ethics, Social Justice, Mental Health and the Law, Immigration Law, Non-Adversarial Justice, and Legal Reasoning and Writing.

My tutoring style is structured, practical, and student-focused. I help break down complex concepts, improve legal writing and argument structure, refine research skills, and develop effective exam strategies. Whether you’re aiming to lift your grades, build confidence, or deepen your understanding of the law, sessions are tailored to your learning style and goals.

I understand the pressures of law school and focus on making learning clear, manageable, and achievable — without judgement. Happy to work with students at any stage of their degree.

Qualifications

My academic background includes subjects such as Criminal Law, Evidence Law, Criminal Procedure, Torts, Ethics, Social Justice, Mental Health and the Law, Immigration Law, Non-Adversarial Justice, and Legal Reasoning and Writing.

I combine strong academic results with a practical, student-focused approach and aim to make law feel clearer, more manageable, and less overwhelming.

Experiences

I’m a criminal defence lawyer and a 2024 AUT Law graduate, where I achieved First Class Honours with A-range results. I completed a broad range of law papers and developed a strong foundation across both theoretical and practical areas of law.

Alongside my studies, I regularly supported fellow students with understanding course content, structuring assignments, legal writing, and exam preparation. Since graduating, I’ve been working in criminal defence, which allows me to bring real-world insight into my tutoring and help students connect theory with practice.

About

Hi, I’m a criminal defence lawyer and a 2024 AUT Law graduate with First Class Honours and A range results. I’ve been through law school recently, so I know exactly how intense it can be; the workload, the pressure, and the moments where things just don’t click.

I want to tutor because I genuinely enjoy helping people understand the law in a way that actually makes sense.

My sessions are relaxed, supportive, and tailored to you. We’ll break things down, work through questions together, improve your writing and structure, and build confidence without any judgement. Whether you’re feeling stuck, trying to lift your grades, or just want a clearer grasp of the content, I’ll meet you where you’re at.

Law school is hard — you don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to make it feel more manageable, more fun, and a lot less intimidating.
