Hey there! I am a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree, specialising in Food Science. With over a year of professional experience as a food technologist, I am researching and developing a diverse range of food and beverage products you see lining supermarket shelves. Before embarking on my full-time career, I spent a lot of my three years of university time tutoring, and, truth be told, I've missed the buzz of helping students succeed.
My passion for STEM subjects, particularly chemistry, has been a driving force throughout my academic and professional journey. I am committed to sharing this enthusiasm and knowledge with my students, aiming to cultivate a deep understanding and appreciation for the sciences.
Having recently completed my own educational journey, I empathise with the challenges students face, often feeling overwhelmed or lacking motivation due to various factors. As a tutor, I prioritise establishing a strong connection with each student, emphasising a holistic approach that extends beyond passing on information. My preferred tutoring method involves introducing students to various study techniques, incorporating real-life examples—particularly those related to food—and offering ample opportunities for practice.
Looking forward to connecting with you and helping you ace those subjects!
