I am a finnish primary school teacher and art teacher who believes in both learning by doing and lifelong learning.
Currently I’m working as a Teacher Aide with pupils with high needs and living in the Queenstown area.
I can teach Math and Finnish.
As a Master of Education Science I have degree in kindergarten teaching, subject teaching in art and classroom teaching.
Before coming New Zealand I worked as a teacher for seven years in the same school, teaching pupils aged 6-12. Over the last two years my class consisted of pupils with normal and special needs as well kids who have just come to Finland to learn to speak Finnish.
In addition, I have worked as a kindergarten teacher, camp instructor, babysitter and child protection utility worker in children’s home.
I love traveling, the outdoors, different cultures, nature, healthy lifestyle, art, adventure and many kind of sports like climbing and dancing.
I have a passion for learning new skills to widen my perspective.
