Experiences
I have been working as an ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) teacher since 2009 having obtained the Cambridge CELTA qualification that year.
I am a highly experienced teacher who has considerable expertise in teaching IELTS, the Cambridge ESOL exams, English phonology, and academic writing as well as General and Business English. I also have experience working as an interlocutor for the Occupational English Test (OET).
I started my ESOL career in Belgium where I taught English to professionals across a wide-sphere of the public and private sector in Belgium as well as in the EU institutions.
In January 2017, I moved to Wellington, New Zealand, where I have been continuing my work as an ESOL teacher in Wellington based Language schools and in one of the city's universities. I also founded New Zealand English Teacher, my tutoring business, in 2019.

In my free time, I love exploring New Zealand. I am a keen hiker and love to get off the beaten track on multi-day hikes. I am also a guitar player of many years with an interest in flamenco, rock, and hip-hop music.
