Kia ora, I�m Maria, and I live in Wellington I�m a New Zealand qualified and registered teacher, with fifteen years of experience teaching. I am also a qualified Dietitian and have worked in the healthcare sector for many years. I have many other interests, skills, and talents, which I have acquired and developed over the years! My greatest resource, however, is my passion and talent for teaching! I've been working as an online English Teacher for ESL students, for over 6 years now. This experience has helped me develop the necessary skills to be a professional and exceptional English teacher. I am an articulate and interactive communicator, a meaningful conversationalist, an inspiring, creative, and engaging teacher, and a committed, patient, and positive leader. I am here to help you reach your learning goals. I'm a kind, caring, and patient teacher. I am fair and understanding. I have worked with people from around the world, and I believe in tolerance, harmony, and peace. I adopt a hybrid teaching style. I have learned that people develop at different paces. My teaching style will be based on your requirements and preferences, and how you wish a session to be completed. My strength lies in coaching students for English proficiency exams like IELTS, TOEFL, EIKEN, and so on. I believe in doing more than my very best for every student I teach. I wish for them to reach their goals of learning, and mastering the English language!

By nature, I am confident, compassionate, friendly, and energetic. On a more personal front, I am married, and a mother to three sons. I enjoy travelling around New Zealand, gardening, cooking, interior d�cor, and photography. I am a beachcomber and a conchologist! The songs of the birds, sunrise, sunset, and the sounds of nature, are thoroughly invigorating and calming to me. So that�s about me in a nutshell!
